FAQs:
-
An initial consultation is a brief, 15-minute conversation over phone or video call. We encourage a video call so you can get a “real” feeling of what sessions may be like. This initial conversation is a chance for us to get to know each other. You’ll be able to share what you’re looking for in therapy, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of whether we’re the right fit. There’s no pressure — just a simple, friendly conversation to help you take the next step.

Cost varies by the type of session and the duration of the time we spend together.
Initial intake evaluation (50-60 minutes)- $175
Individual psychotherapy session (50 minutes)- $150
Group therapy (50 minutes)- $50 per session
Good Faith Estimate: Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the cost of your mental health care. This estimate outlines the expected fees for services you may receive, so you can make informed decisions about your care.
You will receive a written estimate of costs before your first appointment and at any time upon request. The Good Faith Estimate is not a bill — it is simply a transparent look at the potential costs of therapy based on your individual treatment plan. For more information about your rights, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

Most clients tend to meet on a weekly, bi-weekly (every other week), or monthly basis. We can offer a clinical recommendation after the initial appointment.
We understand the demanding nature of life and can be flexible to meet with clients as frequently as they feel they need support.
-
Being that we cater to busy moms, parents, and people navigating life transitions and stressors, we do have availability throughout the day to accommodate varying schedules, nap times, and lunch breaks.
We do offer sessions in the evenings. We also offer weekend openings on a case-by-case basis (not exceeding once per month).

At this time, we are considered an out-of-network provider and do not take insurance. Our practice chooses to work out-of-network so we can provide personalized, flexible care without the limitations that often come with insurance plans. This allows us to focus fully on your goals and needs, rather than what’s covered or approved by insurance.
We are happy to provide monthly superbills for services that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
-
You may call your insurance provider to verify if you have out-of-network mental health coverage. We suggest asking the following questions:
• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
• Is there a deductible for out-of-network services?
• How much is the deductible?
• How much of my deductible has been met this year?
• What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed after I meet my deductible?
• What is the “allowed amount” or “reasonable & customary rate” for an out-of-network psychotherapy session?
• Do you require a mental health diagnosis for reimbursement?
• Is there a limit to the number of sessions reimbursed per year?
• Are telehealth therapy sessions covered out-of-network?
• What is the process for submitting an out-of-network claim?
• What forms or documents do I need to submit?
• Where do I send the claims?
• How long does it take to receive reimbursement after submitting a claim?
• Are there any pre-authorization requirements for out-of-network therapy?
• Are there any exclusions I should be aware of for mental health coverage?
• Are there any specific diagnoses that are excluded from reimbursement?
Pro Tip: Make sure to get the name of the representative you speak with and the reference number for the call.

At this time, services are entirely virtual so you can participate in therapy in a comfortable, convenient setting. We use a HIPPA-complaint platform where you can access appointments and complete new client paperwork with ease and privacy.
Please also know that as a practice serving parents with babies and small children, your kiddos are always welcome in session. While we encourage clients to protect their therapy time to meet their own needs, raising little humans does not always make this possible. Please feel free to have nursing babies, napping children, or busy toddlers in your background!
-
To get the most out of your session, we encourage clients to take a few moments prior to your appointment to reflect on recent events, stuck points, and individual needs. Bringing a few key points to session provides us a framework for processing and problem-solving. We want you to leave session feeling seen, heard, and with new tools to tend to the challenges discussed. When possible, we also recommend creating a quiet, private space with a secure internet connection.
